1st March 2017 - Rescheduled Paris Date

The Pet Shop Boys were forced to cancel their sold-out show at L'Olympia in Paris last night because of unresolvable technical issues. Neil and Chris would like to apologise for the resulting inconvenience and disappointment. The concert has now been rescheduled for Monday 5th June 2017, at the same venue. All tickets for last night's concert will be valid for this date. Anyone preferring to receive a refund rather than attend the rescheduled concert should contact the original point of purchase.

1st March 2017 - Brighton Pride Summer Of Love Festival

The UK 'Super Tour' will come to Brighton Pride Summer Of Love Festival on Saturday 5th August 2017. The Pet Shop Boys headline the event at Preston Park.
Paul Kemp, the director of Brighton Pride, said: "We are really proud to welcome the Pet Shop Boys to headline our most fantastic Pride Festival ever. Having worked with some of the world's most important artists, their impressive history and amazing contribution to popular culture is undeniable. Add to that their community conscience and campaigning, and they are the perfect act for the finale of our Summer Of Love Festival."

23rd February 2017 - Brussels Summertime Festival

The Pet Shop Boys have joined the line-up of the Brussels Summertime Festival, performing their acclaimed 'Super Tour' production on Tuesday 15th August 2017. Uniquely located in the royal quarter of Brussels, other artists playing include Fun Lovin' Criminals, Caravan Palace and Alaska Gold Rush.

23rd February 2017 - Germany

Tge Pet Shop Boys will play an additional 'Super Tour' date in Germany on Monday 17th July 2017, performing at the RuhrCongress in Bochum. Tickets for this new show are now on sale.
Alongside Bochum, PSB will also visit Hannover, Mainz, Baden-Baden, Dresden and Berlin during their summer tour. Tickets for all these dates are already on sale.

21st February 2017 - Bergenfest

The Pet Shop Boys will join the line-up of Bergenfest as they bring the 'Super Tour' to this Norwegian festival, headlining the closing day on Saturday 17th June 2017. Taking place at Bergenhus Fortress in Bergen, other acts performing will include the Norwegian pop singer Aurora, Bryan Ferry and Benjamin Clementine.

17th February 2017 - UK Chart

This week in the physical singles chart (sales of CDs and vinyl) 'Say It To Me' went up 62 places to number 34 and 'Inner Sanctum' re-entered at number 92.

14th February 2017 - UK Super Tour More Dates

Following five sold-out shows in Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Bournemouth on their 'Super Tour' across the UK this month, the Pet Shop Boys are delighted to announce that they will return to the UK again in June 2017 with two extra dates:
Wednesday 21st June 2017 - Empress Ballroom, Blackpool, England
Thursday 22nd June 2017 - Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham, England
Tickets for the two new dates go on general sale on Friday 17th February from 10am. Buy tickets at Ticketmaster.

11th February 2017 - Cruilla Festival

The 'Super Tour' will visit Spain for the first time on Saturday 8th July 2017 when the Pet Shop Boys headline one night at the Cruilla Barcelona Summer Festival. Other artists performing over the three-day event at Juliol al Parc del Fórum include Jamiroquai, The Prodigy, Ryan Adams and Two Door Cinema Club.

10th February 2017 - UK Chart

This week in the physical singles chart (sales of CDs and vinyl) 'Say It To Me' went down 51 places to number 96.

10th February 2017 - Literally Is Now Annually

The Pet Shop Boys have published their own magazine, Literally, since 1989 and last year announced it would become an annual publication after 42 issues. A new name and format has been announced. From now on Literally is Annually, a bigger (240 x 170 mm), hard-backed, 64-page book. The issue 1 will be dispatched on Saturday 1st April 2017 and will contain news, exclusive photographs, a behind-the-scenes report on the Royal Opera House shows, your letters answered and more. Packaged with Annually will be an exclusive three-track CD in a pochette designed by Farrow. A four-track 12" vinyl will also be commercially released at a later date to be announced shortly. 9th February 2017 - Bestival

The Pet Shop Boys will be headlining the final night of Bestival 2017 in Dorset on Sunday 10th September 2017. The xx, A Tribe Called Quest and Jamie T are among the other artists playing during the three-day festival.

7th February 2017 - Henley Festival

The Pet Shop Boys have added another date to their UK 'Super Tour' which will visit the Henley Festival 2017 on Thursday 6th July 2017. Taking place by the riverbanks of Henley-on-Thames, other artists performing include Jess Glynne, Chaka Khan and All Saints.

6th February 2017 - The Pretenders

The Pretenders are releasing a new single, 'Let's Get Lost', featuring Chrissie Hynde and guest vocalist Neil Tennant duetting on one of the stand-out songs from The Pretenders latest album, 'Alone'. The track is released as part of a double a-side single with 'Gotta Wait'. Chrissie Hynde invited Neil to perform on it after a conversation between the pair backstage at a Pretenders gig in Austin, Texas, during which Neil told Chrissie that the track should be her next single. Chrissie said she would release it on the condition that he sang vocals with her; subsequently, when both artists were back in London they went in to Sarm Studios where Neil added his vocals to the track. This collaboration continues a working relationship that started when Chrissie performed 'Four Songs In A Minor' with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Pet Shop Boys' Proms show at London's Royal Albert Hall in 2015. Neil said, "I love Chrissie's voice and I love this song. It was a pleasure to sing and it's a thrill to be part of a duet with Chrissie."

3rd February 2017 - UK Chart

2nd February 2017 - Germany

Following their acclaimed sold-out dates last year, the Pet Shop Boys are returning to Germany this summer with five more 'Super Tour' shows over June and July. Pre-sales have now begun. For all the Pet Shop Boys' tour dates see the Tour Dates page.

2nd February 2017 - NME 2017 Awards Honours

The Pet Shop Boys will be honoured with the 'Godlike Genius Award' at the 2017 VO5 NME Awards taking place on Wednesday 15th February 2017 at O2 Academy Brixton, London. After collecting their award, Neil and Chris, plus their Super Tour band, will then close the ceremony with a 30-minute performance.
Speaking of their win, the Pet Shop Boys said, "We’re really happy to win NME's 'Godlike Genius Award' and we’re looking forward to playing at the awards show this year."
NME's editor-in-chief Mike Williams said, "For three decades, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have been pushing the boundaries of pop music, releasing a series of consistently excellent singles and albums and working to blur the boundaries between art, music and social commentary. Their influence on pop culture is undeniable and the list of artists they’ve worked with is a mini rock 'n' roll hall of fame. Pet Shop Boys' stage performances and festival shows are never anything short of spectacular, and we're honoured that our latest Godlike Geniuses will grace the Brixton stage for an extra-special set of hits to close the VO5 NME Awards 2017."
Fans can also attend this special evening by purchasing tickets. 100 tickets with exclusive access to the NME pit are on-sale now. Bastille, Dua Lipa and 'Outstanding Contribution to Music Award' winner Wiley have also been confirmed for the legendary ceremony, with hosting by Huw Stephens.

1st February 2017 - Festival On The Wall

The Pet Shop Boys will headline the brand new Festival On The Wall in Northumberland this summer, bringing their 'Super Tour' production to a location near Hadrian's Wall. PSB will play the opening day of the festival, Friday 4th August 2017, with The Libertines and Mark Ronson also scheduled to perform. This latest UK show will follow the Pet Shop Boys' six-date tour across the country later this month.

20th January 2017 - UK Chart

This week in the physical singles chart (sales of CDs and vinyl) 'Say It To Me' went down 19 places to number 51. Meanwhile 'Always On My Mind' re-entered at number 99.

13th January 2017 - UK Chart

Neil and Chris are looking forward to continuing the 'Super Tour' in the UK and Paris in February 2017 and will be announcing more new tour dates soon.
